Prophecy Of The Kings

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Story...If You Have Two Weeks To Spare By J. Coulter
Format:Kindle Edition
This tale is very well written although the beginning is slow. Personally, I love epic adventures and this one does not disappoint. I am a fast reader and yet my Kindle said that it would take me nearly twenty hours to read this trilogy! So be prepared. You will not whip right through this one. I love the cover, as well. Very Celtic looking. A very promising author. I will be watching for more works by him.

Phenomenal New Writer!
Surrender Of Trust
By Mariel Grey
If you buy only one book a year then, I highly recommend getting this one. The author has knocked the ball right out of the park on her first try at bat.
The story is very well researched. I was impressed with her accuracy of the Arabian bloodlines, which I personally know myself, and put together in a very satisfying, neatly wrapped package.
I do not agree with the one star reviews that are posted. If you do not care for this type of book then why do you buy them? I found it to be a lovely story and the circumstances involving the heroine’s actions quite believable. And who hasn’t met a man in their lifetime that would plot out a way to seduce a woman that he wanted?
As far as the “identical twin” business, I am fairly certain that in the early 1800’s they would not have made a distinction of their sexual variances making a difference as far as them being identical. And since it was the characters view of them…I don’t see the problem.
The book has been re-edited recently to fix any missing words, etc. and I promise, you will not be disappointed. If I could rate it higher than five stars…I would!
I am looking forward to reading more from this budding new author in the future. Do not miss this one!

I must admit that I don’t normally read YA books so my perceptions are a bit tainted. I love the cover (kudos to the artist). The story, on the other hand, I would not say that I loved. I like the concept of it but the delivery could use more polish.
The characters were very well written and that is what kept me interested in the story for the most part. What bothered me the most was the fact that the story climaxed about two-thirds of the way through with no clear, decisive defeat of the enemy. This is fine if you are planning a sequel but not as a standalone. I kept waiting for the second attack…which never came.
Overall, the story left me unsatisfied. There are too many unanswered questions in my mind. I hope the author will do a follow-up story to address these issues because I would definitely read it to satisfy my curiosity.
I gave it four stars…partly for the cover art and the rest was for the characters and concept.

The Doctor's Deceit
By
Kathy Steinemann
This story is a follow-up to "Vanguard Of Hope" and ties up many loose ends if you are curious about what happened to the rest of the characters in the first book. It introduces a few new ones, as well.
I found it to be well thought out and pieced together nicely. I refuse to comment on the storyline for I hate revealing 'spoilers' for prospective buyers.
With that said, I still must ask...what was the doctor's deceit? I had to ask the author before I understood what it was. A product of overwork, I think. When she pointed it out to me…it was obvious. I recommend that you take the challenge and pick up a copy for yourself to see if you can figure it out. I gave it five stars.

I found this book to be quite an interesting read over all. It started a bit slow for me but before I realized it…it had it’s hooks in me. This one sneaks up on you.
I am not a fan of this time period or “diary type” stories but this one proved to be the exception. If you’re looking for a tear-jerker…this book is for you. It is a wonderful read and I find myself looking forward to Part Two.
Personally, I would rank this tale as a classical novel rather than historical romance. It feels timeless and enduring. Four stars on this one.

The Reluctant Messiah
The Reluctant Messiah was a delightful change of pace for me to read. The concept of the story was quite original as well.
I found the characters to be unlikely candidates for the task they faced which is what made the story seem so real. The tale was well thought out and a fun read.
I hope to see more from this author in the future and I highly recommend this book to one and all. Definitely a five star book!

Wytchfire Review
A Haunting Tale
I read this book hoping that I would like it since I am an avid romance fan for the most part. The story piqued my curiosity, though, so I gave it a whirl.
I will not go into the story line since one reviewer has already covered that. Instead, I will give my impressions of what I read.
First of all, I like the cover. The dark picture draws me in to take a closer look. The detail of his armor and weapons are excellent! Kudos to the artist.
Like I said before...I hoped that I would like it. I was wrong. I loved this story...even without any romance in it.
The characters are compelling, the tale is intriguing and it keeps you guessing all the way through it.
On the “con” side, it left me feeling like I did not receive the entire story. I am certain that this was intentional but it left me unfulfilled, just the same. That is my problem, though. I like to read straight through to the end with no detours or months of waiting for the next morsel. This is why I stopped watching soap operas. Like I said...that’s just me.
The other thing that bothered me were the typos. There were not so many as to take away from enjoying the book but there were some that I had to pause and figure out. The “dragonkinddragonkin” I believe is deliberate on the author’s part but I would have hyphenated it, I think.(It’s that irritating “perfectionist” in me rearing it’s ugly head again!)
I highly recommend this book to all who love fantasy. I will give it five stars, even though I feel like I haven’t finished reading it, since I spoke with the author and he said that the typos are being repaired.

This review is from: Twitter: Are you doing this? (Kindle Edition)
I am basically computer illiterate so when it comes to Twitter...I'm stumped. This book was very helpful in explaining things like shortening web addresses, in plain English (including links), which I didn't even know was possible. Suggestions of ways to use it in business was very innovative, as well. I highly recommend it!
